I have wanted to write since I was a child. Of course, I also dreamed of being an architect, an erudite, a wolf leader, a baker, a geographer, a healer... Among other things. But life told me to grow up and choose a passion, and so I chose Science.

Still, in the secret of my bed sheets, I would invent stories for myself, fantastical stories, impossible stories. Soon Science became jealous, and growled that I couldn't keep cheating, I had to dedicate all of my mind, love and passion to Science.

Stories had created a stronghold in my mind though, and wouldn't let Science uproot them. They whispered to me: "Keep us, Claire, we do not get jealous. In fact, we want you to love architecture, knowledge, wolves, baking, maps, and care. We want you to explore EVERYTHING, so we can grow and expand and deepen."

And so I opened my mind and my heart to them, and thus I began telling stories.
